Includes dock, shallow water access swim area, paddle boat, canoe, life jackets, swim noodles, fire pit, screened-in porch (Muskoka Room), patio chairs, Satellite TV, telephone and fireplace.
The cottage sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms (double, double, twin, double/twin bunk bed), perfect for one or two families. Newly upgraded full 4 piece bathroom, new stovetop and built-in oven.
Only a 1 3/4 hour drive from Toronto, this three-season drive-up cottage is located on serene, quiet Baxter Lake. Boat access is available to the Trent-Severn Waterway and Georgian Bay via water tunnel.
There are lots of things to see and do in the area if you choose. The fascinating Marine Railroad (see bottom picture) is 20 minutes by boat or a short drive on White Falls Road. Golf courses nearby. Santa’s Village is an hour away. Midland is a 20 minute drive for shopping, dining, movie theatres and the hospital. Stay at the lake and water-ski, swim, fish, canoe or just read a good book by the water.
Please note that there are stairs between the cottage and the dock that may not be suitable for some guests.

Pricing (May 1 to Thanksgiving):
$1200 Weekly 7 nights
Weekends (May, June, Sept, Oct) $450 - 3 nights, $350 - 2 nights
$700 Long Weekends (May, Sept, Oct) 4 nights

Plus $200 per week/weekend security deposit. 50% due upon booking, balance and full security deposit due 2 weeks prior to rental. Cancellations subject to 25% of rental fee if prior to 4 weeks before rental starts. Extra nights $100. Pets allowed with owner’s approval. Families preferred. Check-in/out 4pm/12pm.
To pay your deposit with PayPal, please send money to the owner’s email address (itfolk@aol.com) or pay by e-transfer from your online banking account to the same email address. Balance can be paid with same method or cheque. Once all payments are received, key will be mailed or delivered.
